I’ve had an interest and fascination in the markets since I was a teenager. In my early twenties I tossed the idea around of moving to Chicago, NY, or Kansas or Minn to become a floor trader.

Instead I did a seven year stint at a local company in Orange County California called Trendsetter Software where we developed technical analysis and trading software for the Macintosh.

At Trendsetter I was fortunate to work everyday with professional day traders, floor traders, investment managers and institutional money managers as well as thousands of individual traders on a daily basis teaching them how to use our software. Some of these traders and investors are legends in the industry.

From this experience I learned technical analysis as well as the importance of fundamental factors.

During the time I also consulted individual traders on technical factors moving the market.

I have traded in just about every type of financial instrument. Stocks, equities, options, futures, stock index futures, commodities, commodity options, mutual funds, you name it.

The last few years I dabbled in investment type websites and blogs that eventually got put on the shelf due to my other interests.

This blog will attempt to occassionally document my highly opinionated thoughts about the markets.
